This cell is an 800 mah.  It is 50 cents cheaper that the 1000 mah.  It's run time when fully charged is a little less than the 1000.  It may be all your device needs.

 

NiCad solar batteries can be recharged many times.  They do get old and require replacement. When your solar light does not light or lights for only a short time it may be necessary to replace the battery.
